I have a master 139.53672srt1 (opener 1/2 PS) with circuit board 41a5021-3b with orange-red button, 390 MHz protection with floating code. It checks all fields for compatibility, which I can easily determine. The craftsman remote control that I just bought works great with the system (model: 139.30498). I tried to program these remotes after successfully doing so with the master remote and couldn't get them to work. One major difference is that the handyman remote has a programming button, while these remotes simply ask you to press and hold the button to be programmed. The program light on the opener is on, the blue light on the remote is on, but the programming doesn't seem to be happening, the light on the unit just goes off after 30 seconds. We are waiting for a response from the manufacturer. I'd like to try a different set as everyone agrees they should work. Except that I'm going to send them back.
