I read reviews about the effectiveness of dummy surveillance cameras on the site, and in general they can be useful, but the flashing red light is just a sign for thieves that it is fake and real I don't have CCTV cameras so I suggested not using them and of course that means no fiddling with batteries! I suggest attaching a cable to the camera to make it appear as if it is actually connected to a surveillance device. You can use a short coaxial cable, e.g. B. Cable TV. There are many easy ways to make it look real no matter what surface you place it on. I have vertical siding that made it easy to install the camera through a slot in the siding and run the cable through the slot, tape it under the camera and wrap a piece around it to hold it in the slot in the siding to keep . on the other side (see photo). I think using the warning stickers that come with the camera is acceptable, but the camera looks pretty convincing without them.
