I mainly use this printer with Mac OS X systems and iOS devices. At first I was concerned that I couldn't wake up the printer after it went to sleep. However, after checking the website and downloading newer drivers than those on the disc, this problem resolved itself. So make sure you do this if you're having trouble waking up from sleep. This is an excellent printer. One ink price should be enough for you. You stop buying a printer and buy the first set of replacement ink that costs the same as the printer. I use that for my work. Print boarding passes, scan checks, copy things. The Scan to PC function works without problems. My printer is a few feet from my desk. I load what I want to scan, use the touchscreen to scan, and it's waiting for me on my computer when I turn around. The auto feed works very well as long as I remember which end to attach. The print quality is excellent, the duplex printing works very well. I've printed several 100 page documents and hardly scratched the included ink. Replacement black ink costs $14 for a large cartridge. Very helpful. It also doesn't use color ink when printing black and white pages like other printers do. It is very annoying when you run out of yellow ink when printing a document that consists of black text only. The software for Mac OS X is top notch, not belated like many printer manufacturers. Absolutely no problem with the snow leopard. The printer doesn't support iOS printing out of the box, I had to get a third party program that shared all the printers on my system and then my family iPhones and iPads printed just fine.
