My cat is very fat (13lb bowling ball I think) so I put her on a strict diet and fed her a much higher quality food than Purina replaces you ate. I wanted to switch her to raw food but time and money were the deciding factors so I decided to try raw kibble first and since it was in a format she would be familiar with I decided to give it a try. The cat was angry about her diet change. She didn't eat for days until she finally ate this one. Now she can tolerate some of the pieces, she still doesn't like it, but she does NOT want to eat nuggets, so I wanted to buy this food. Whole, shredded, soaked, she won't eat those boosters or blenders I bought for treats and toppers. She pushes them off her plate onto the floor. Overall this product is good, it's a good option for those looking to switch their cats to a healthier diet, but my cat absolutely hates it. She eats but without desire and complains all the time. She's lost weight, but because she only nibbles this food when she's hungry, she has no choice.
