Don't ever buy this. I found a piece of plastic in the rear!

I found a piece of plastic in the pellets when my cat ate almost the entire pack. July 1, 2019 If you bought this food at this time, for her safety and health, stop feeding your cat.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some flaws

The cat is obsessed with this food.

So my cat is obsessed with it. I hardly open my eyes in the morning and she meows right next to my head and runs back and forth to her bowl so I can feed her. I have to feed her before I feed my baby or she will eat me alive lol. The bottom line is that my cat is obsessed with this food. I think I should keep buying or I'll have to fear the cat's revenge.

Great food, small packaging

This cat food is truly the best I have ever tried. I had 4 cats in the same house (2 are my adult daughters). 2 older and 2 younger than 3 years. They are all alive and well. There are very few cases of vomiting, one of the older kittens has a sensitive stomach. They have silky fur and lots of energy. The only downside to this particular formula is the size of the bag. It only comes in a small pouch. So there are no volume discounts and I keep buying a new bag.

Expensive but our cat is noticeably healthier

We tried this food because our cat had lost a lot of weight, gained weight and vomited a lot on the previous food. Since switching to instinctive raw acceleration, she has started cutting her hair, has a much healthier coat and has never thrown up. Also, she sheds less. While all of these things aren't unique to this food, we're grateful for the benefits we're seeing and will continue to pay more for a truly great product.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

  • Only available in white

Not the same quality as local pet store

Unfortunately I canceled my subscription and saved my order because of this. I get 2 packs a month and noticed last month that there were very few raw pieces in the first pack. The second bag is the same. My cats didn't want to eat it. I thought maybe it was a bad batch. 2 bags this month and again both have very very few raw parts and are dark yellow and small. I went to the pet store and got the bag and it was exactly how I remembered it. Tons of raw chunks and they're light yellow/cream in…

My Bobtail is very picky, he only eats food.

My cat stopped smelling after a severe sinus infection. He stopped hunting and eating his food. The only thing I could get him to eat was very expensive canned food, but it didn't contain any supplements. I finally stumbled across Instinct and their raw food diet. It took a while for him to give up canned food completely, but now he just eats it and I add rabbit and chicken blenders to make it different every day. He doesn't know when he'll get his marshmallows, what I call them, or what flavor

Miracle Medicine: Food

If you're a cat lover like me, you know you'll do anything for furries. My cat Worf was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease about a year ago and I did my best to help him. I tried various medications prescribed by his doctor as well as prescribed foods. Did not help. I tried giving him supplements. nope I have tried giving him food without supplements. Didn't help at all. He got worse and worse until he was almost a sack full of bones. I was so worried about him. I did a little research…

Apparently the ingredients have changed. cats vomit all the time.

I've been feeding my two cats the Instinct Raw Boost for about 3 years without a hitch. However, after my direct calls to Instinct, both cats started vomiting in January. I called Instinct and tried switching the flavor from chicken to the other Instinct flavors of turkey, salmon and duck, but after a few meals the cats kept throwing up. They are fed on a schedule, one tablespoon at a time. We do not leave food unattended (ie free food). It all started with chicken, so we switched to turkey. We

My spoiled fat cat hates it

My cat is very fat (13lb bowling ball I think) so I put her on a strict diet and fed her a much higher quality food than Purina replaces you ate. I wanted to switch her to raw food but time and money were the deciding factors so I decided to try raw kibble first and since it was in a format she would be familiar with I decided to give it a try. The cat was angry about her diet change. She didn't eat for days until she finally ate this one. Now she can tolerate some of the pieces, she still…
