If you care about computer networking, this is what you need. Starting with a $10 tester that basically just checks that the pins are aligned may seem like a big leap, but it really helped me save time and figure out what's wrong instead of just guessing and drawing conclusions. And it logs into your account online and sends reports when you connect to the internet, for each test you can add notes to, etc. If you do a lot of wiring work, you should probably get something higher. But for a network tester, this thing turned out to be very useful.
