Safe and Shiny in Detail

I didn't know it would be so difficult to find mirrors. I ended up buying this set because I liked the look and prayed the installation would go smoothly. If I had taken the time to remove my old mirrors on my 1990 FLSTC I would have noticed that no threading is required, just a hole that perfectly matches the bolted portion of the mirror. The screws were a bit longer than I needed, but I used a washer from my old kit to make up for it (the washers on the bottom could do the same job). The entire installation took less than ten minutes. The classic lines of the mirrors complemented my old bike and added a touch of modernity. The best surprise, however, was the improvement in vision I got on my morning commute. The arcs effectively moved the position of the mirror farther than my standard arcs. Instead of basically driving around, I could see cars coming my way from both of them. Safe and brilliant, the best of both worlds.
