Not 8 AWG, closer to 10 AWG. At least that's copper, not OCO. This is ridiculous as the wire is presented here as a specific gauge and labeled as such only to find out it is a gauge or smaller which poses a serious fire hazard, not to mention performance when it comes to voltage drop . If that's not nonsense then copper clad aluminum is sold as pure copper. The wire in my right hand is the fuse holder. Below is the actual 8 gauge welding cable.
