That. Thing. Saved. My ass! I jumped out of a truck at work and my phone fell on the sidewalk in a wallet and slid 3 feet. The defender bore the brunt of the damage. Cracks but it's better than the real screen. The matte finish is great for preventing glare, but you're trading it for some clarity of the word. Not too intense, but the edges of the letters will be softened. It's also more oleophobic than the standard screen. All oils on the screen are practically invisible. The video looks much better in my opinion. Can't beat him for $8! Especially compared to $35-60 sold in other stores. The only complaint I can have is how tedious it is to install, making sure it's dust free and properly aligned, but once that's done you'll never have to fiddle with it again.
