Good for some things, but not for garlic. Definitely sharp and otherwise easy to use.

Very spicy and different from some things like garlic, but garlic and other foods get stuck in the middle, which takes more time than normal slicing because you have to constantly loosen what's stuck. My main reason for buying it was to chop garlic.
