Review on 🔦 Geeni GN BW912 999 Smart LED Floodlight in White by Dominique Phillips

I installed this lamp just over a month ago and am still happy with its performance. As shown in the photo, it is located in the north-west corner of the house in a ceiling-mounted bracket. After reading the questions and answers, I didn't understand if this product is suitable for outdoor use, but I decided to try it. The lamp came with a sticker saying it wasn't designed for wet areas, but in my case it definitely gets wet being that close to the edge of the roof. So far this hasn't been a problem. I was impressed by the amount of light it puts out. Most of the time I leave it on the Cool White setting at 100% and it's quite bright. The Wi-Fi router is in a room on the southeast side of the house about 20 feet away and through the walls. The Geeni app detected the lightbulb, and while the Wi-Fi signal reports "weak," it seems good enough to control the lightbulb. I mainly use the Revain Alexa app (or voice commands) to control the lightbulb when needed. With Alexa you can turn the lightbulb on and off and adjust the color temperature and intensity. In most cases, it turns on and off automatically on a schedule I set. I use Geeni app to change my schedule from time to time. I believe it's possible to create a procedure in Alexa to turn it on and off automatically, but I haven't tried it yet. It is not a motion sensor light. When it's on, it's always on, and the same when it's off. Other products are available for this type of application. So far there have been no complaints about this product. The only question I have is about durability. The time will show.
