I chose these for a small environment and also because they don't smoke like real candles. First, these things eat batteries. I leave them on all the time so keep that in mind, but each candle runs on two AA batteries for a week or two. Second, the light is pleasant if you're not too close. From afar they look like real candles, but up close you can see that's not the case. Keep this in mind when purchasing. Third, they have some sort of artificial wax outer shell that I could do without. I mean we all know they are fake so why pretend? The wax has an odd consistency and is too hard to mimic real wax. In general, it's cheap and cheerful. If it works for you and improves your lovemaking then I would say go for it. Yes, they are made in China, so be aware that you will not pass them on to your children (assuming the romance goes well!).4/5*
