This French Press looks great on the countertop, not even something I've been looking for in a French Press but really appreciate the quality. Functionally, as the owner and operator of several other French presses, I can say that it's by far the smoothest and best overall feel I've had. along with a screw. If you like to clean the whole glass thoroughly, like me, you need a flat head to unscrew it and then the foot that was just stuck was so tight that I had to bend the metal a bit to take the glass out. After that it can be controlled, but still feels secure when buttoned up. It comes with a few accessories. A long spoon for stirring the grist in the water between brews. I like it. I have used chopsticks before and this is a big upgrade. Exquisite! The second is a fixing stick sponge. I would hate to have it in the package. More unnecessary plastic waste in the world. Because it feels cheap and I'd rather not use it, but it's functional. I'll make the best of it I can but the sponge doesn't seem to be high enough to last long. In general it's very cool. I would recommend buying, the only honest negative I can say is that they include an unnecessary low quality plastic sponge stick in the kit. Otherwise great and I like it.
