Review on 💽 WD 4TB Performance Desktop Hard Drive - 3.5-Inch (WDBSLA0040HNC-NRSN) by Kevin Ayala

I use this in an external case and hook it up to my security system. Enough space for many large video files. Easy to set up. Just mount and format. Doesn't seem to generate much heat. However, performance definitely becomes sluggish when the drive is full. Video clips start to stutter when data blocks are closed. In general very satisfied. Seagate and Western Digital are my favorite drives, so I'm happy. And I like the big size. Striping or RAID are not required. Overall not bad, but performance could be better.
