Received this item today and was very happy to use it. Unfortunately, NOWHERE is it mentioned that there is plastic on the plates. I have read the materials that came with it and followed the instructions which said to turn the unit on and let it warm up. The panels were made of clear plastic that melted when heated and now stuck to all of the device's panels, rendering it virtually unusable. I have included copies of the quick start cards. DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE QUICK START GUIDE. MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE PLASTIC BEFORE CONNECTING THE DEVICE. If I ever remove the plastic from the device I will update my review on how perms actually work.
