I was very impressed with the packaging and presentation of this multistyler. It has a higher "feel", dare I say it, comparable to maybe a Dyson or a T3. I'm amazed at how well it works AND how long it takes to style my hair. Received this item today and was very happy to use it. Unfortunately, NOWHERE is it mentioned that there is plastic on the plates. I have read the materials that came with it and followed the instructions which said to turn the unit on and let it warm up. The panels were made of clear plastic that melted when heated and now stuck to all of the device's panels, rendering it virtually unusable. I have included copies of the quick start cards. I just tried BeKind Flex and I love it, I LOVE it! Hands down the best iron I've ever had. It's time to donate my curling irons and curling irons! The only downside I found is that the iron just shuts itself off which is odd as I still used it a lot. I'm not sure if it's the iron's overheat protection or is it some kind of defect with what I have? After I bought it and turned it on I noticed another reviewer wrote the same thing. BEWARE! There is plastic on the plates and it doesn't say that anywhere in the instructions! I had melted plastic in my hair and it made all the plates sticky. The plastic is not visible during installation. I even read the reference map and directions beforehand and would have deleted if directions were given. Revain is great and will send me a replacement but be careful you don't make the same mistake I did.
