I'm pretty good at curling my hair with a flat iron, but this product changes everything. A small thumb stud makes it easy to pull hair out without actually tugging. The handle is rounded for an even better curl shape. And my hair seems a lot less "fried" after using it. I found this to be quicker to use than a regular curling iron because I don't have to place my hair very strategically on the plates and help pull it out. The iron noise sounds like a very small fan (like a laptop). It was weird at first but I got used to the sound very quickly and I prefer the sound because it reminds me to turn off the iron when I'm done using it. I would highly recommend this product, it's sleek, well designed, reliable and feels like the apple of a straightener.
