Bought a new dog training collar when the old one stopped charging due to water damage I guess. Got this collar for a reasonable price, let's try it and see what happens. It's been about a week now and the remote seems stuck, the lock indicator is on the display but flipping the slider doesn't turn it off. It's completely bricked when the display is on. After fiddling with it and plugging it in to charge, it finally came out of lock mode, but all the buttons are unresponsive and the pawl doesn't work either. I've tried holding down the power button and pressing the v key and nothing. When I fully charge the charger I believe it was half charged when this started. To further explain the frustration, it did the same thing this morning before I took my dog out, after plugging it in and out it started to work, took the dog for a walk where it decided to chase a coyote , long after button presses to get his attention and yells at him to come back, he eventually came back but only because he was already well trained the collar did nothing, panicking to press the buttons I pressed the bottom button that changes 1 3 pairs of collars, that was on collar 2 not on collar 1 which is his. This button should be on the side for multiple dogs. TLDR: I will be looking for a new remote as I ran into an issue with the dog collar misconfiguration and need it to work immediately and now it's completely locked out after just an hour. easy application within a week.
