I purchased this to wear as a shawl over a dress for a Christmas party. I was anticipating that I'd be cold outside in my outfit (roughly 40degF California winter!) and was shocked that the cold didn't penetrate the shawl AT ALL! SO warm and soft.The faux fur quality is very nice, the cream color is so pretty, and the little detailed embroidery is subtle on the non-fur large portion. (I was worried it would make it look cheap, but I barely noticed it and it doesn't show up in photos, at least in the cream colored variant!)My ONLY warning for buyers is that if you're as tall or taller than myself (I'm 6'2") it reached to just about my hip bones when on, with my arms lifting it in the portions they would naturally. Some of the ladies photo'd in the reviews are much shorter than myself so it wears on them like a longer cloak (my envy!) but it still looked so very pretty on me :) Just don't expect a poncho if you're tall! It's going to be a tad shorter!
