Warm and attractive

I did receive a lot of compliments when I wore this to an outdoor wedding ceremony in 34 degrees. It is pretty warm and fun to wear. The reason for the four stars is that the fur sheds a bit. I was wearing black and the cape I bought was black as well so it was not a problem that night, but had I worn a lighter color it would have been a pain in the neck to de-fur. However this was the first time I wore it and sometimes things stop shedding after a bit (think new carpet). Anyway, the cape was…

BEAUTIFUL! on my review.

I rarely become excited about products, but this item in brown is simply GORGEOUS. Upon receiving this item, I immediately threw it in the dryer(on air fluff. no heat) and the cape and fur look and feel real! I immediately ordered one in purple! I love the floral imprint as well. What a surprise ♥️

Soft fur, kind of short for 5’8

Cute, the fur is pretty soft. It’s kind of a lightweight sweater material? Like jersey knit mixed with a sweater. I was unhappy with the length of it, I’m 5’8 so it didn’t come down far enough or close enough to keep me really warm. But if you’re shorter/petite it would probably be fine. Still cute, just don’t expect it to cover if you’re taller or big busted

Suprisingly warm! So elegant!

I purchased this to wear as a shawl over a dress for a Christmas party. I was anticipating that I'd be cold outside in my outfit (roughly 40degF California winter!) and was shocked that the cold didn't penetrate the shawl AT ALL! SO warm and soft.The faux fur quality is very nice, the cream color is so pretty, and the little detailed embroidery is subtle on the non-fur large portion. Very pretty, don't use any heat

This shawl is beautiful, it worked perfectly with my dress for the gala event I attended. I had to order a second one because when the first arrived, I put it in the dryer on low heat to fluff the faux fur like other reviewers suggested. The faux fur was absolutely ruined -- I guess my dryer's low setting is hotter than the other reviewers. But it was so pretty I ordered a second one; this time I put the shawl in the dryer on the no-heat, air dry only setting. It worked to fluff the fur and did

Great purchase— you’ll love it!

Absolutely beautiful! Wore over a dress on a chilly evening at an outdoor wedding. All of the positive remarks in prior reviews are true. Fabric is soft and design is very attractive. Fur stands up well. I really appreciated the hook to fasten it so I didn’t have to hold it closed. Great purchase. Looks so pretty!

It’s really nice but clips got loose really quick

I got this for Christmas, and it’s really warm and cute, but the clips that connect the cape together got loose within weeks. I had to see them down my self. Other than that it’s great, I can even wear it out in the snow. Just make sure you can some what sew before buying.

Be Sure to Fluff the Faux Fur!

Warning, the faux fur will be crimped and not look as good when it first arrives. You will have to use a blow dryer on high heat and a hair brush to fluff it up. After that it goes from looking like a cheap costume accessory to a gorgeous item for everyday wear! It is about average sweater thickness comfy like a knitted blanket!

I was worried this would look cheap, but it absolutely doesn't! 10/10, highly recommend. I'm 5'2, plus size, and it fits perfectly - it seems like it would fit a LOT of body types, smaller or larger than me. The rose design is very subtle, which I prefer. Perfect for solstice photos

Oh my goodness, I can’t say enough about how much I love this! I bought it for a winter solstice photo shoot and I got the short cape because I’m only five feet tall and my sisters all have long capes, so I dared to be different and it payed off. I love this! It’s patterned on the outside which doesn’t really show in the amazon image. It hooks closed and is very warm. I loved all the fur and fringe, the details are perfect! Two friends have bought this since!

Lightweight, very soft.

Used as Mrs. Clause cape. The color is a bit more of an orange red, but was able to pull it off anyway with a darker red dress underneath. I wore layers to stay warm but did get cold at about 35 degrees, so will add another layer. But it worked perfectly with the Santa suit I made a few years ago.
