First of all I have to say that they are perfectly shiny on their own. But be careful, after installing all the lights and connecting them with wires, they didn't light up. After multiple attempts to connect and reconnect, we were never able to figure it out. The instructions call for the white wire to be positive and the black wire negative, using common sense black would be grounded. NOT CORRECT! The white wire is ground and the black wire is positive. Either we got a back order or someone who made the lights drank too much and mixed up the wires when putting it together. Test your bulbs one at a time prior to installation so you don't spend a day installing only to find that they don't work. We reconnected them and now they work great.
