I bought in May 2019 for my Dell Inspiron 15 5000. It needs a 19.5V 45W charger. From day one, it took my laptop a few tries to recognize this charger. I thought it was just because it's not a Dell company. I found out later that this is because the charger power is less than 45W. However, after several connections and disconnections, it works. I just lived with it. Today my laptop now refuses to recognize the charger at all. It's time to buy another brand.
