I usually always use the built-in cameras that come with the Macintosh computers that I use for video chatting. But now, for the first time, my late 2012 Mac Mini (running Catalina) can share the fun in a video! It might not be the best choice for power users with online learning or complex recording needs, but for the average user its flexibility is perfect! As promised in the description of this camera, it really works "plug and play", which it did. Nice. I was instantly able to FaceTime with my family across the country with ease. Picture and sound were clear and precise. The red indicator light immediately indicated the connection to the device, and the green light indicated the active camera. The easily adjustable protective cover ensures safety and also blocks the constant red connection light. Mounting the camera on a tripod was also easy. The tripod made it possible to quickly change the height and angle of inclination. I highly recommend this affordable camera for beginners or those who want to stay connected in these remote times.
