This is a brilliant design you pay for. You can't get less than this form and add a covered area for cash. I can hold about 7 cards/ID (I don't tri fold my bills - I just fold them in half and then in half again and the wallet easily holds more cash than expected with a flap that closes the cash without being bulky be). I bought the plastic version and didn't notice. While I love the wallet, any businessman will tell you that it probably costs less than $4 to make. It's an injection molded plastic that appears to be very well made and after 2 weeks on it I can't see any design or material flaws. Now that I know that for a few bucks difference you can get the Metal version, I think I'll go for the Metal version next time. The only advantage of plastic is that it cannot be detected by metal detectors.
