The product looks very cheap and the instructions are very small, mostly in Chinese and difficult to read. I bought this as a gift for my elderly grandmother but didn't give it to her as I thought she wouldn't be able to read/use it. Instead I went to Joanne's and bought other embroidery kits that were even cheaper than this one and easier to work with. The packaging was also opened.

Some of these should be viewed critically if you didn't immediately understand the instructions. You can watch the stitches you will learn and how to fold/turn on YouTube. This includes all the correct colors and a quick start guide. It's funny and bad to buy more of these. Pro tip: The embroidery outside of the light green guides and rotated roses is very delicate, so don't machine wash it after you're done.

What a beautiful product! It was so much fun. I am a seamstress but have no embroidery experience. However, all sewing methods for this can be easily found on YouTube (sometimes I found this company, but mostly I only saw the first one that came across them). Took me a few hours to make it but it was very pretty. I recommend this as a gift or if you just like to spend lazy days slurping and sewing claws 🧵

This is a decent starter kit for beginners. However, I would like to point out that the threads are messy when it comes to threading them through the needle. I had to use glue stick to lay the threads flat and hold them together enough to push through the eyelet. After that, the instructions aren't very helpful, but it was easy enough to find very helpful videos on YouTube on how to remove the stitches. So glad I bought this kit! I embroidered for the first time and I am very satisfied with the result. The hoop, fabric and floss are very high quality! I bought another set from another company and the quality pales in comparison to prison. The stencil was red paint which washed off very easily.
