After flashing my ECU from Flex Fuel back to 91 for Smog I got code P0137. I had already bought a new O2 sensor so there was no point in buying a new one, I changed the wiring and checked for exhaust leaks! I said I would buy a new sensor. I bought a Jebsen O2 sensor, reset my ECU and hoped no more code and bam! Code P0137 again. I flushed the GS tank again to rid it of ethanol and checked the ground wires. Nothing. So I've always been reluctant to buy cheap sensors, the Jebsen O2 sensor was $35, I bought this Denso sensor here for $50, in Autozone it's $120. I installed this O2 sensor and reset the ECU and BAM! No more codes! Now I can get on with my life without the damn CEL and get rid of the smog.
