New sprayer works very well but consider it a one-time use. After about a month, the spray/flow trigger begins to tighten and tighten, eventually requiring two hands to operate. The silicone spray might loosen it up a bit, but it will never work as smoothly as the new one had. With metal from other manufacturers (Whedon) the same problem. I want them to either design them to be cleaned or make the parts out of teflon so they can slide freely for a long time. I buy several at a time and replace them every few months. Drill out a 1/16 inch water restrictor for better water flow. This takes a few minutes. Unscrew the atomizer head from the body of the first knurled joint, then drill first with a 3/16" drill bit, then with a 1/4" drill bit, then screw the head back on.
