This unit was the only option and a must to hook up a new radio to my '08 HHR. Unfortunately not well thought out and not fully functional. Pros: * It supports On-Star. * It allows the radio to interact with the factory seat belts. * It supports ringing when the doors open/light up/put the keys in the ignition. Bad: * DOES NOT SUPPORT turn signal "click" signal without EXTRA resistor that needs to be purchased separately! Forgive me but I expect EVERYTHING to work for the price of this item! * It's huge! If you have an HHR and are installing an aftermarket factory size (double din) radio, you MUST place the "box" behind the radio pocket on the dash. Dashboard. *Because it is so huge and needs to be placed behind the console, there must be an extra cable for the length required! The alignment of the wires and their routing from bundle to box and bundle creates a bird's nest of wires, but they are barely long enough to reach the radio. In short, if you have HHR, it's a necessary evil. But be prepared, it's a nightmare.
