That was a great offer. This is a genuine Specter part and comes in a fully sealed box. It fitted my Dana 44 perfectly and included a gasket as seen in the photo. Two important things to know: #1 There is no "lock ring" on the filler plug, so trying to tighten it all the way will result in the filler plug falling into the differential chamber, leaving no choice but to remove the cap and drain the oil, remove the screw and start over. Doh! yes it happened main fright. And the original filler plug had a different thread pattern so I couldn't reuse the original. #2 Relatively minor issue, but the screws were too long in a couple of holes so I had to add extra washers. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning, so you should probably have shims on hand in case you need them. The bolt holes match, so of course you can reuse your original bolts to avoid the problem, but then you end up with a nice shiny diff cover with rusty bolts. That being said, there's still a lot to this point.
