Review on MoKo Case for 2018/2017 iPad 9.7 6th/5th Generation - Slim, Lightweight Smart Shell Stand Cover with Translucent Frosted Back Protector - Compatible with Apple iPad 9.7 Inch 2018/2017, Black (Auto Wake/Sleep) by Jay Huang

I ordered this MoKo case after 2 bad experiences with an ESR case (review posted). I have had this event for a loved one for 3 months now. The case is holding up pretty well compared to ESR case breaks. This is a hard plastic case with a softer triple lid. Contrary to the experience of some other reviewers, I did not find the case slippery. I have a tempered glass screen protector on my iPad and had no trouble snapping it onto the back cover or closing the top cover. I have no qualms about the "feel" or "look" of the solid translucent back either. Although my iPad is gold, I ordered a black case to avoid possible stains on the case. I think the gold looks beautiful with the translucent back. The tri-fold top cover is softly lined and won't leave a mark on my iPad screen. Contrary to my experience with ESR lids, I find this MoKo lid does not attract lint. The magnet is still strong and the iPad sticks well to both the display and the keyboard. The sleep/wake function works effectively as advertised. My only criticism of this cover is that a small piece of the hard cover simply broke off - not because the iPad was dropped, and not because it was bumped or rubbed against something else. No, like a withered leaf, a piece just fell off the top left corner of the cover. I really hope that no more tracks will be thrown out of the cover. I will post an update to this review when that happens.
