This design of this toy is exactly the same as the one I used when I was a kid and in my youth I sometimes buy small toys to play with as souvenirs. It wasn't the toy I used as a kid and was good for about 5 minutes of entertainment. The problems with this item are endless and paralyze its main purpose. The discs don't load easily and won't stay in place unless you're holding the gun perfectly upright. If you turn it sideways or move at all, they move and don't shoot. When the disc fires, it rarely fires directly, and distance is the real issue. I couldn't even annoy my wife by shooting her just a few feet away. which is always a shame! It's cheap Chinese plastic that doesn't last more than a few uses, although it's thrown away long before that. Overall, this is a cheap toy that should be avoided. If you are looking for a toy gun for your son or someone young at heart, I would go for a Nerf gun!
