I only used the smallest bag. I put 1 part coarsely ground beans in a bag, tie it up, pour it into a large jar (I have 480z) and add 4 parts water. I leave it on the counter for about 16 hours and then pull out the bag (above the bin). I turn the bag inside out and shake off the coffee grounds. The smallest remaining particles of thick matter are easily washed off in the sink. I don't wash the pouch from the chute side, although I think a small amount wouldn't hurt. I can't garden where I live, otherwise I would make better use of the space. Any suggestions? Anyway, I get 3/4 full glass of highly concentrated coffee. I put it in the fridge. I live in Florida so my favorite way to use it is to put some ice cubes in a glass jar, fill it maybe 3/4 full, then 1/2 and 1/2 to the brim. I'm the only coffee drinker in the house so using a chemex or any other pouring method is too tiring for me. There are probably videos on YouTube showing how to do it. HAVE FUN!
