I recently spilled some gasoline from a can on my car carpet and the smell was overwhelming. I looked at different products to find a way to get rid of the smell and not just cover it up. This product claimed to get the job done. Result. It's not like this. I followed all the instructions (which were quite complicated and took quite a while) and the smell is still there. I can't say if it has decreased. However, he did one thing; There is a white lime stain on my carpet that I cannot completely remove. I would suggest looking for another product if you want to get rid of the gasoline smell.
