This stand fits exactly what I needed - so well I just ordered a second one. First, the stand looks like it was made by Apple. It's virtually invisible when your laptop is standing on it, and the front is designed to be perfectly illuminated by a cut-out on the front of your MacBook Pro for easy opening and closing. Second, the front edge, which holds the laptop and prevents it from sliding down, works great and isn't too high to interfere with typing. You won't have a problem using your laptop at this angle - I find it even easier to type with the MacBook's short travel. Third, it raises the screen enough that my webcam is no longer pointed at my nose during video conferences. All round this is a well made stand and great value for money. If I could change anything, I would make it about 2 inches wider for aesthetic reasons. My Macbook is very secure and doesn't fall over even when typing hard. I highly recommend this laptop stand.
