This set of different sized food and travel containers is a darn good buy! Very versatile and with the added benefit of being able to be used in the oven and heated in the microwave without the risk of breaking the heat resistant glass jars (although you will of course need to remove the silicone sealing lids). Great price for a very practical set of food storage containers. My wife loves them! My first review above reflected my (and my wife's) opinion of this product in March, after nearly three months of frequent use, after receiving it for Christmas. Gift. The next addendum from June 2020 confirms that after more than two months of regular use these containers are primarily for storing chilled food, brown bag lunch containers and occasionally for reheating food in both regular and microwave ovens (minus their lids, of course), these tempered glass food containers still work perfectly! I just don't understand the feedback from people complaining about broken glass chipping around the edges and noticing silicone seals falling off the lids because none of the jars in my set experienced this. despite our frequent use. Of course, if you use a GLASS food container like a frisbee (sp?) in a porcelain sink, or if you bang it against other hard surfaces like a billiard ball, yes, you're likely to get broken glass! Likewise, if you completely IGNORE the instructions that came with the product and do NOT bake the plastic lids and their silicone seals in the oven or wash them in boiling hot dishwashers, then yes, you will likely notice some warping and/or separation of the lid parts ! Obvious abuse aside, I think you will find these airtight storage containers to be a really reliable and very versatile product worthy of a five star rating, especially given their very reasonable price.
