Review on FurnitureClinic Leather Easy Restoration Kit: Revive and Repair Sofas, Car Seats & More with Leather Recoloring Balm & Cleaner by Dave Russell

Almost new! suitable for car detailing

We have Italian leather sofas that we bought at a flea market for about $350 (he said they cost him $3,000 new). They looked a bit worn but were otherwise in good condition. If the guy who sold them to us did it first, he could probably get $1,000 for it! I first cleaned them all according to the instructions and then applied a dark brown leather balm. I waited as instructed and polished it. I used a normal sponge to apply because the sponge that came with it broke pretty quickly. I then used a leather shoe shine brush to buff it as it was easier than fabric. I then applied Furniture Clinic's Leather Protection Cream and dried again (per directions) waited and then buffed with a cloth. Whilst the rag was a little discolored I used to apply a protective cream once it had dried and I buffed it with a clean dry cloth the color has not washed off and in a week since we did this. Since the skin has been very dry, I apply the barrier cream weekly for a while until I feel it is not needed as often, and then monthly or longer as directed on the bottle.
