I recently got an office phone for work and since I can't use it in handsfree mode (the handsfree phone is not a very good quality) I bought this headset. It connects via a mini phone jack and not 3.5mm or USB. As a high-tech person using a notoriously low-tech device, here's what I think: Construction: This is a one-ear headset. While it doesn't seem expensive, it's not too cheap either. The wire will bend, but not where you think it will break. The connections make a reliable impression. The microphone arm rotates smoothly (and is fully rotatable, so you can use it on either ear). The cable has full resilience in the coiled section, which adds some microphony when jammed (you can hear the hiss of the cable in the earphone). This is solved by attaching a shirt clip to something (which prevents you from hearing any rustling below this point). Performance: I can hear callers perfectly. The sound is crisp and clear, which allows you to achieve significant volume. The microphone subtracts the star. Callers said I sound good but not great. They understood what I said, but said there was a slight "infidelity" in it. Not bad, better than speakerphone but not as good as a phone. Other reviews stated that callers couldn't hear them at all. I haven't had this problem, but I'll update if it occurs. Comfort: I've never worn a mono headset, so this can be normal. The non-earbud side has a padded bar that hugs the side of your head. It's not the most comfortable thing, but I'm not sure what could be better. The wire band leaves a nice indentation in my hair, but again, that's to be expected. I have headphones that are much more comfortable, but that's not a bad thing. I've had several conference calls that lasted more than an hour and didn't feel the need to remove and set it up. Which, by the way, he doesn't have. There are no adjustments. How it is. Conclusions. Great office headset for the price. If you want more convenience, the convenience of wireless connectivity, the ability to adjust volume, mute, pick up the phone from a device, then you need something a little more comprehensive.
