Ignore other reviews. Works 100%.

I have an '08 Honda CRV and my wife came back and said she had a broken key in the ignition but it wouldn't start and the green light wasn't on The key symbol was flashing so I jumped onto the internet and found that this poorly designed keychain was CONSTANTLY breaking. So I found out that you can change the case and it should work (as long as you still have your old keychain), which he did. I looked at eBay and Revain but Revain had shells at a better price but this seller's product seemed to get the most/best reviews but in the reviews people complained that the hole was missing I believe for 1 screw , but my hole lined up perfectly I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THE REPLACEMENT. It took me less than 5 minutes to fix my problem and I didn't have to spend a bunch of money to cut a new key. That's easy. little black plastic around the key part that needs to be broken off and you take the same piece out of the body of the new key and move it forward and up and then you take the new body and take out the part of the button that holds the battery and put it in the new body and push down then take the key and that part is the only hard/difficult part. It has grooves and each side is different so pay close attention and line up the grooves and press (it should click a little). After aligning everything, grab the back panel, push both halves together until they click into place, then grab the new black screw and use the small blue-handled screwdrivers they give you and tighten the screw , and then you're done. 5 minutes max. very, very good product, would recommend to everyone, no problems AT ALL
