I bought this for my dog who likes to go kayaking with me. The fit is perfect if you go by the sizing chart and even then you have a little room to work with. I feel it runs big but that worked out for her. It keeps her floating when she is in the water, she basically swims like a rock but she thinks she is swimming. I don’t have the heart to tell her she is a horrible swimmer. She never complains that the life vest is uncomfortable so I am assuming she finds it comfortable to wear. All in all I am very happy with this dog life vest and I am pretty sure she is too.
