I got an xs because according to the messarments she would fit either an xxs or xs. glad I went with the xs. it fits her good, i kind of feel the neck is a little tight, but would rather it a bit tight than to loose. I like that it has a hook on the top to hook a lead to her so if she falls off my raft, and i can't get her right a way, I can pull on the lead and bring her to me. it reflects great as well. I got this for the cute factor, but the shark fin actually makes it worse. I got a size small for my 15 pound dachshund. It fit him fine, but he couldn't float upright in it. When I would put him in deep water, he would start to turn on his side. The fin made him rotate to one side. I'm returning it and getting one with the fin. 2 stars because it's better than nothing.

I bought this for my dog who likes to go kayaking with me. The fit is perfect if you go by the sizing chart and even then you have a little room to work with. I feel it runs big but that worked out for her. It keeps her floating when she is in the water, she basically swims like a rock but she thinks she is swimming. We have a 70 lbs mutt who has a lot of pit in her and didn't float or swim nearly as well as our other dog. She'd try a couple times, then give up and not go back in the lake the rest of the weekend. It’s always nerve wracking buying for our Great Dane because she’s so big, but the XXL fit her great! The biggest point on her chest was 35 inches so we went with the XXL, if she grows more (which is likely, she just turned 1) she’ll fill it right out! My dog is 115 lbs, and this does not 100% hold him up. He would drown still but it gives him enough Bryan you that he can get around better than without it.

This lifejacket is a pretty good deal. I had a leash attached to the back of the jacket, my dog pulled on it and broke the plastic piece right off. I got a size L and my dog is around 40lbs, it was a little small around his ribcage, but he still seemed comfortable.
