We have a 70 lbs mutt who has a lot of pit in her and didn't float or swim nearly as well as our other dog. She'd try a couple times, then give up and not go back in the lake the rest of the weekend. We got this life jacket and now she floats much better and will play all weekend in the lake with the other dogs, chasing balls, etc. It makes us feel a lot more confident taking her out on the boat as well. The camo is a nice touch since they inevitably get covered in mud/dirt and it doesn't show stains very well. She is a pit, boxer, German shepherd weighing 73 lbs and the XL fit very well. While running on the bank she didn't seem to notice she was even wearing it and didn't mind us putting it on her. It's held up to abuse very well too. I'd recommend it!
