Well I've had mine for at least 8 years, from Cabellas not Revain. A battery pack has failed, but who cares, because you can use rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries or just buy them at Costco. Lots of features and accessories like in-ear/hands-free headphones. My only complaint, and an industry-wide one, is the fine print on the instructions and the tiny icons on the devices, but that's how it is these days. Many years ago I paid a lot less.
