Doesn't go well with mushrooms
I was dying to try this with mushrooms as I bake and sauté them in a lot of dishes. Unfortunately, the fresh mushrooms I bought the night before offered a lot of resistance to the blades and I had to use more force than was necessary to cut them. The mushrooms were crushed before the blades could actually cut through the mushrooms. Gave up after trying to chop 5 mushrooms. I haven't tried strawberries or eggs yet, which I think works better with this slicer.
