Works well with almost any laptop that uses a standard 2.5" 7mm SATA hard drive. You can't help but like a 500GB drive at this price point. It's hard to believe that storage like this can come at such a low price per gigabyte. I come from the old computer days. MicroSD drives still amaze me with their technical capabilities. 1/2 terabyte hard drives are incredible. Terribly amazing. I don't get how unbelievable this is, but those of us who grew up in the "pre-cellular" era, who were in our late teens when the first Apple II was launched, never would have guessed that we would the coming would be a hard time to follow.
