Most cheap tools don't work properly
This is one of those tools that makes you regret buying a cheap tool. I took a chance as it would be a one time use and unfortunately it was unsuccessful. In some cases you can get away with cheap tools, but the risk is always high. Most of the time your time is spent making it work. What should have been a 10-15 minute job turned out to be 2 hours as I had to run in HD to get what worked. This tool will not hold 1/2 copper pipe. Slippage is a common downside that you see in other reviews. I tried to tighten the screws as best as I could but to no avail. Avoid buying this tool.
