NO CONNECTION for computers and accessories

New technologies (at least new to me) are usually not a problem. But after hours of fiddling with this HOTLIFE case, I still couldn't pair the keyboard with my iPad or iPhone. I even brought big guns. My millennial daughters and their super tech-savvy teens. Do not go. I must have just gotten a lemon. On the other hand, this keyboard case is relatively light and easy to use. I love being able to detach the keyboard and flip the lid open when I read my Kindle in bed at night. If I fall asleep and drop it on my face (hey, that happens), I wouldn't break my nose. On the other hand, the case and keyboard feel underpowered and unprofessional for work projects that require careful document preparation or for use in the field with clients. Note. One of my daughters quickly bought me another keyboard case (the same silver Arteck she allows her toddler) for about $40 on Prime. The keyboard is built-in, the body is hard and very heavy. Typing is like a laptop. It connected in minutes and works great. While it's perfect for my work, I do miss reading books on my iPad as this new case is definitely breaking my nose. My takeaway from these two purchases is that both cases have great features but are designed for completely different purposes. Also, I'll probably have to have one iPad just for work (in the Arteck case) and buy another (to put in the HOTLIFE case) for reading and housework. 🙄

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
