Ever since the first iPhone, I've put screen protectors on my iPhone right out of the box. These things have come a long way! I used to have to align everything by eye and hope that everything goes smoothly and without dust. For the first time I used the instructions that came with it and everything worked great! I highly recommend doing this in a dust-free environment (I do this in the bathroom after running the shower on the hottest setting for a few minutes). So far so good with that. No bubbles and it covers the entire screen with a very small speaker cutout at the top.
