The hunting season with a bow has just begun. this means hordes of hunters from other states are invading our territory. We have a metal gate at the end of our road that leads uphill to the back of our land. One of those staters cut off the lock on our gates and went hunting on our land! We had the sheriff take care of it, but I stayed with the gate unlocked in the high hunting season and away from the brick and mortar store to get replacements. So I ended up using my cable and mountain bike lock to secure our gate. but that left me with no cable to enclose the mountain bike. After checking here I decided to go for it. It was reasonably priced, the diameter was good, as were the reviews. The cable as shown in the picture is long enough to go through both wheels of the bike. It's durable and well made, so I have confidence in it. We don't live in an urban area so I'm not worried about someone coming in with bolt cutters because honestly that's what it takes to get through this cable. This would not be possible without a kind of tie in rounded compact dimensions. Without them, it would not be so easy to stuff the backpack as it is not light and does not bend. but they obviously thought of this small issue, which is why there is velcro on the cable itself. The Velcro closure makes it easy to roll up the cord when not in use and get on the go. I would buy it again anytime if needed. I can recommend this cable.
