Featuring an 8:1 shaft and a 4:1 shaft with a nearly 12" handle, this winch can handle more than just a heavy boat on a Trailer out of the water and on a boat trailer, he can tow a large lawnmower up a steep slope onto a conventional trailer. I don't use the hex bolt they gave me to attach the handle because it has a nylock insert that requires a wrench to tighten. Just use a regular hex bolt and thread it in by hand, especially if you're going from an 8:1 shaft to a 4:1 shaft. If you want to mount it on a tablet, you can pull the handle (it hits the bed) and use a cordless drill with a strong 8:1 torque on the shaft. I really like this device, it seems very strong and will do the job.
