This is a replacement bulb. Don't touch it with bare hands.
This is my second. The first lasted about 2 years. This is in everyday use as I prefer my projector to my LCD. The factory lamp lasted 5 years as a reference. You can guess what I did from the title. That robbed the lightbulb of some of its life.
